A couple of things come to mind...
Is there adequate lubrication? Certain medications, including birth-control pills, can cause vaginal dryness. Make sure that you prolong foreplay until you're well lubricated and, perhaps, use lube to ease the friction.
Are you using a condom / spermicide? Some people are alergic to Nonoxynol-9, and report burning sensations after use. You could try lookiking for a different spermicide such as octoxynol or for a lower amount of N-9. Some women are also allergic to latex condoms - try polyurethane.
There are also several medical conditions that can cause a burning sensation so you should see a doctor if symptoms persist.
