Is it a case of they want us girls to think they are studs and that lots of girls want them or are they genuinally sleeping around? Reply to this Question Share |

I have to agree with Tremor here.
Guys make very stupid jokes sometimes, but they don't often share it with women because some of them take it seriously. Him making a joke like this may just say he's confident or comfortable around you.
No guy would joke about cheating on you if they weren't. My boyfriend does it sometimes, but only because he knows I won't take it seriously and joke back with him. One time I did get upset (It was a bad day), and he told me "If I was really cheating on you, do you think I would joke about it?."
It's the truth for most guys.

I wouldn't read too much into it, I make the same kind of jokes with my boyfriend. You know - "I've seen you every day this week, how are you finding time for your other girlfriends?" etc etc.
It could well just be their way of showing that they are comfortable with you - they know you know they wouldn't cheat on you, so they can joke about it.

You're pretty much right on the money with them wanting girls to think they're "studs."
Stupid isn't it?
