 Men look at other women because men have eyes. If a woman walks by wearing something designed to get attention (like a tight or low-cut shirt), or a woman walks by that is simply highly attractive, it will automatically catch a man's attention because we ARE designed to notice and many women go out of their way to BE noticed (makeup, clothes, even the way they walk). Seeing another girl has no bearing on whether he's going to be unfaithful. And you know, women look at other men, too. How many women out there love their boyfriends/husbands but still sit and drool whenever Johnny Depp is on screen?
But it's just looking. Now, if you're guy is sitting, staring, fantasizing, and even commenting on it and comparing you to them or saying how amazing these girls look with too much frequency, he may be unsatisfied in his relationship. But simply appreciating a woman, a simple, "Yes, that's an attractive woman" comment, eyes that tend to spot cute women walking by, just mean he's still a straight man. Nothing more.

The same reason. That's what males and females are programmed to do. You'll find that you do it. It doesn't mean we don't love our girlfriend.
