A Genie appeared and thanked the man for letting him out. The Genie said, "For your kindness I will grant you one wish, but only one."
The man thought for a minute and said, "I have always wanted to go to Hawaii, but have never been able to because I'm afraid of flying and ships make me claustrophobic and ill. So, I wish for a bridge to be built from here to Hawaii."
The Genie thought for a few minutes and said, "No, I don't think I can do that. Just think of all the work involved with the pilings needed to hold up the highway and how deep they would have to be to reach the bottom of the ocean. Think of all the concrete that would be needed, not to mention the surfacing, drainage systems, lighting ... No, that is too much to ask."
The man thought for a minute: "There is one other thing that I have always wanted. I would like to be able to understand women. What makes them laugh and cry, why are they temperamental, why are they so difficult to get along with? Basically, what makes them tick?"
The Genie scratched his beard and thought about this request for a few moments.
"So, do you want two lanes or four?"

 because they are a lot different. it's not just guys and girls. it's girls and girls, guys and guys... the only thing that makes guys and girls more different is that they're bodies and part of their mentalities are different. if there was a study about every single person, about some REALLY subjective thing, you would see that some guys would think the same as girls. but this is just the presentation, to the fact that guys can't understand girls, because they are more sensittive, more delicate, more gentle and more frightened. and girls can't understand guys 'cause they don't care that much with their problems, because they are less delicate...of course i'm generalizing a lot, but it's a bit what i'm saying...

You've obviously got a problem so why not post that rather than posting a vague generalisation?
Not all women are the same, and not all men are the same.
There is no set of rules. If you think there is and tried to squish your man into a smal labelled box then that may be where you have gone wrong.

 No one knows lol. Have you ever heard the phrase, "Girls use sex to get love and guys use love to get sex"? I think part of it might be because we're on 2 different playing fields. I'm not saying that phrase is always accurate, but it seems to be the case a lot of the time.

 it's because there both to afraid to tell eachother what they really want and they think its needy to open upto eachother if they actually talked about things they could work things out but one person in the relationship is always too scared to be the vulnerable one because they are scared that the other person will leave. love is a weakness.

guys and gals do understand eachother and half the time they have the same worries and insecurities but theyd die of embarasment to tell eachother them.
