writes:I'm confused. Why would someone got out of their way to not mention a relationship? I've known someone for almost 2 years and 65% of that time she was actually with someone. She went out of her way to keep it a secret because she would always say it was friends that she was with - like on trips etc. What made it easier is that we've been in separate cities for a while.I have a tendency of falling for friends which is what happened here. But I think I was being used the entire time as I definitely would go out of my way for her. I still do. This revelation though makes me question whatever relationship I have with her.Why would someone keep such a thing a secret? I mean she never mentioned at all that she was with someone.  maybe she didnt want to hurt your feelings as she might of known the way you felt for her or possibly she was keeping her options open due to not being happy in her relationship and if something started with you both then keeping it a secret would mean she could carry on behind your back as well as her partners. i wouldnt think of getting into a relationship with her as she seems the type of person to try and get the best of both worlds
