I didn't want to ask him what it meant as i felt silly but the only time i have heard that word before was a rappers name. I thought he had done a typo but i have been told it means cool but i have never heard anyone say it or put it. Reply to this Question Share |

Yip I use this all the time. It is slang!

A

...And what do you think that Mr. Artis Ivey, aka Coolio, meant by choosing this nickname ?:)
It's a pun on " Julio Iglesias "- Coolio is a singer, but a COOL singer. He sort of jokes " I am so cool / fly / bangin', that I've got Julio Iglesias status ".
Anyway - Coolio = cool. You never happened to hear it, but it is ( maybe was, it's a bit outdated now ) a rather common slang expression.

Like he said, some people occasionally use it in place of cool, or okay. Not really sure there's any other answer needed.

from my understanding it just means cool .. unaware of the context of the email it could be like 'yeah cool no worries thanks' kinda of reply.
