Are you guys still in contact? That may be why. But if not, then you are infatuated with a fantasy. Holiday romances are in the top ten female fantasies. Your best bet is to do something to get your mind off him, take up a hobby or get a job. This works in two ways, it keeps you busy and introduces you to new people, which is the best way to forget an old flame.
Hope that helps.

I met a guy on summer vacation, and we lived in different states, and I must have had a crush on him for like a year or more afterwards. Nothing came of it. My feelings eventually subsided. I am 26 now, and from experience all I can say is that you are probably just a hopeless romantic like I was and probably still am. It's in your personality. Which is totally ok. It'll probably happen again to you and again and again. The good news about that is that you are probably going to have very passionate and loving relationships when the right ones do come along. Good for you.
