writes: Theresz disz guy that i have been talkin to for a year now. hes 31 and has a 4 year old daughter. im 18 years old, so thats not the problem..whenever i want to come ova, his daughter isnt there. he told me nobody comes ova wen his daughter is there, but i dnt believe it. i already met his kid, and she knows me so i dnt kno wat the deal is. and he told me one time that he wants me to be part of his and his daughters life. why doesnt he allow me to be around his daughter? is he ashamed or embarrassed to have me arund his 4 year old? alwayznd4eva116 is verified as being by the original poster of the questioni have seen her. we worked together at a daycare and hes brought her to the daycare a lot of times. i jus havent been around her alone or like the three of us. but i understand that yeah, he might not know how long ill be in his life, so hes holding off on formally introducing me to his pride and joy.

He is trying to protect his daughter's feelings, which is commendable. On the other hand, the fact that you have still not been allowed to see his daughter for over a year now means that he is still not sure about how permanent you will be in his life.
