He even has written to someone else about me to discuss a detail and referred to me as "she" and then the person he had written to had to ask him who he was referring to, as my name was not mentionned. Even in emails to me, he has never written my name. I find it so strange. He is so warm yet he can never address me by my name. I don't think it's because his intention is to be impersonal because he is so kind and warm by nature. What is the psychological reason for someone not using someone's name? It just may be the way he is... I always feel weird using names when talking to people... I saw sweetie, or honey or darling or kumquat..(yes I say kumquat).... I have friends that use Pumpkin or precious...
I think it doesn't mean much at all.

Who knows, maybe its his habit for you. Why don't you just ask him?

He definitely does know my name but somehow chooses to never say it.

Are you 100% sure he KNOWS your name? Maybe he isn't sure and don't want you to know that he forgot.
Personally, I'm really bad with names, but great with faces and places.

Are you sure he knows it? Are you sure he knows how to pronounce it? It could be that even though he OUGHT to know your name, perhaps he feels that he doesn't. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt... maybe you can remind him by slipping it into conversation?
If he does know your name, and just doesn't use it - maybe he's a bit shy?
Good luck, sweetness!
