writes:Hello everyone,I am about to ask a question and its going to sound really awkward and I honestly don't mean to offend anyone i'm just curious.... I am african american and lately I've been noticing that white people are different then black people. I work @ starbucks, and I deal with a lot of snobby people in general. But one thing I noticed is that white women never wanna grow up. I see really old white women all the time, and they come in and order "fat free sugar free etc" drinks. They wear so much makeup and wear juicy couture sweatsuits. Why is it that they don't wanna grow up, I think its gross. I rarely see old black women doing things like that. Why is it that white women tend do be like that more often. And I have also noticed that white people allow their daughters to start wearing make up wayyyyyyyy tooooooooo young. I have a lot of white friends and none of them are virgins, they started having sex really early actually. And when it comes to my black friends they have sex but they aren't as risky as my white friends. Is it just me? I have nothing against white people after all my best friend is white, she's polish, I love her like family and so does my family but when I compare us the way our parents raised us is totally different. Most of my black friends were raised like me and most of my white friends were raised like her. We all gradutaed from highschool and pretty much all of us are in college. I'm not really sure exactly what i'm asking but, I guess it's, why are white people more promiscuous?

White women have been raised in more liberal families where the parents turn a blind eye to a young 12 year old's flirtatious behavior toward older men. I see this too. I'm not black, i am hispanic. My parent's raised me to be extremely proper and to be very conservative. I don't kiss strange men or women, i don't flirt around like a mad woman, i am not sex hungry, LOL.
I think any man or woman who has self-respect and dignity, will set personal limits and have boundaries when going on dates, and when meeting new people, i see many young white people who don't think before acting. I hate to say these things, but they are very obvious. Everyone else other than these same culprits see this...

I see a lot of postings online like this from black women. I'm not sure is this is passive-aggressiveness or what. Statistics clearly show that black females have sex younger and much more frequently than do whites. I have worked at several schools and when a female is caught having sex in the parking lot or being promiscuous, it has been a black female - not most of the time, EVERY time. I see a lot of defensiveness and finger pointing from the black community when it comes to virtuosity of the females. A lot of black women seem to think that white females are loose. Perhaps this is because you frequent places where EVERYONE is loose. Every white female I know is either a church-going goody-two shoes or into wierd goth things but promiscuity is the usually the result of a broken household, and has no color lines. However, as a nation, blacks also have the most broken households. Instead of pointing the finger and trying to make white females seem more promiscuous, it would be better to focus on your own goodness.

i am so sick of people trying to make out that white and black people are different. the reason there always seems to be race issues is because of petty things like this. white women are not all the same, just like black women. we are all individuals. some white and black women are right sluts, others are nice normal girls. their skin colour has nothing to do with how they act around men.

I understand this isn't meant to be racist but I think it depends what city the girls are from. Where I live its more of the african american girls who are the promiscuous ones having more than 1 father for each child not meant to be offensive. But also where I live the latino people are also promiscuous. Most of my friends are african american and latin and they all became parents of the age 14 through 18. So its white people are not all that promiscuous

reader, anonymous, writes (10 January 2009): Coming from a mixed raced family, I am mixed black and white nad have two white sisters. I was not brought up with my mother so can only go by observation. I beleive it is a cultural thing. My white sisters spent much time in inappropriate surroundings such as pubs. they probably were observant to behaviours between my mum and their dad. They both had children young and are often alcohol fueled.
My black side are not big drinkers and have more pride in themselves. You talk about white women, some black women are just as bad.
On the whole, I feel that white women are able to have sex without so much commitment so are more likely to have one nights stands fueled by alcohol. Black women do not drink as much and want more than a one night stand.
