Darrell Goodliffe agony auntI agree with the previous poster to a degree, dreams are often are irrational but that is because they are the product of the subconscious mind which isnt fettered by the rules of rationality and is less conditioned than the conscious mind, therefore the previous posted is broadly accurate in your mind, the fact that your being nice symbolises the struggle within your own mind between natural bitterness and anger at the betrayal and the desire expressed in these dreams to reconcile that anger and reach out to a more positive future, your reconciliation with that person symbolises the desire within yourself to reconcile these two conflicting feelings and move forward so I would embrace that.

A male reader, no nonsense Aidan United Kingdom +, writes (28 April 2013):

To be honest I think people need to be a bit careful about trying to spot hidden meaning in dreams. Dreams are often irrational and don’t have to relate to real life at all.

IF anything, maybe it means that you are trying to make your relationship work, and to do that you’re having to lose some of your anger. You want anger at her and your boyfriend’s betrayal, to be replaced by positive thoughts about the future you, he, and your young family have together.

When you forgive some-one, it doesn’t mean you necessarily become best friends with them. It can just mean you let go of the anger, bitterness and resentment you feel towards that person. Perhaps you are trying to find a way to forgive in this sense, and your dreams are reflecting that.

I wish you all the very best.
