Hello.. I feel awful however I made a big mistake and I am wondering if someone can help. I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am unsure who the father of my child is. Me and my fiance have been together for 5 years and broke up on oct 2nd... I met a guy while in california and I had sex with them between nov 2nd and nov 6th. Sadly is was unprotected. I then returned back to my fiance anf we had unprotected sex on nov 14th and have been ever since. I have never had a regular cycle so I don't know when my last period was. I know I am due august 8th based off the ultrasound. Can anyone tell me their opinion on the father... thank you

Hi

you said you are 16weeks pregnant you had sex with this new guy on 2nd of nov l think if you count your weeks from that day that will give you 116wks 2day that means he is the father of your baby.if you count from 14 that will give you 14wks4days so that means your fiance is not the father.unless if you are wrong about your weeks

but l think DNA test will give the right answer

good lucky with that

I think the other guy is the father and I think you felt you have become pregnent after having unprotected sex with him so went on having unprotected sex with your fiance as well.Anyway that is not important now. the right thing now is to contact the other guy and tell him what happened and urge him to own his child. but if he refuses then I think you should tell your fiance the truth and let him decide.

you can also have a DNA test after the child is born. maybe it turns that your fiance is the the father after all. anyway I thing in most probability your fiance will refuse to do anything with you till the DNA result comes out.

LoveIsRough agony auntI can't tell you and neither can anyone else. Only a DNA test can. You need to tell your fiance regardless of how you feel--if he finds out when you're married, he might want a divorce, so tell him now so that you can go through the healing process.

Greg290352 is 100% wrong. He's so totally wrong that I wonder if he's not really a man but a woman writing in disguise. I've never seen or heard of a man saying that the truth about child paternity may need to be faced but it's better off later than earlier. That's the viewpoint of someone who is concerned about the welfare of everyone in your situation except the innocent man.

Having guilt does not justify the lying here. The biggest reason to come clean is not to punish you for cheating, it's to do the right thing for the others involved in this.

Children are people and people need to know the truth about their parents. And parents have a right to know when they are (or are not) really parents.

Come clean. The sooner the better.

greg290352 agony auntThese things happen. There is obviously doubt which guy is the father of your baby. However you don't know that it is not your fiance. Frankly I would say nothing to your fiance. The feelings of doubt that you have are the price you need to pay for the indescretion. If you tell him you risk your relationship. At some point in the future the doubt about paternity may have to be faced but I would not come clean with him now. Good luck.

Well for starters, You need to come foward on what you did.

Because it VERY WELL COULD be the other guys baby.

Honestly you're asking a question none of us an truthfully an answer. You just need to have a dna test.

It's going to break your husband heart I know.
