I use the Depovera injection, which is administered every twelve weeks by a nurse. This means I am completely protected contraceptive wise, and also do not have any periods at all, which fits in well with my active career. I chose the injection as I was having trouble taking the Pill at a regular time. I didn't gain any weight as you sometimes can do with the Pill.
The doctor will have many different things to suggest, one of which will suit you. The Pill can do all sorts, including clearing up your skin if you have acne problems.
The only thing to remember with any oral contraceptives or patches is to still use condoms with any new partner - you may not get pregnant, but you still need protecting against STD's and other infections...

the best thing to do is go and ask ur doctor for advice. i have been on both. there are good and bad things that come with both. you may forget ur pill n so may be best going on the patch but the patch can make u put alot of weight on. if u speak to ur doctor ther will be able to explain the pros and cons of both and there for help you decide what will be best for you to use.
