At one point in time when we were split up I started hanging out with another guy...nothing happened. However he has run into people who have told him otherwise. I don't know why they are telling him these things but i need help on how to prove to him that nothing happened between me and this guy. He has already told me that if i had him talk to anyone about it, that he won't believe them because "i could have told them what to say". I don't know what to do about this...ANY ADVICE?!?!

If it didn't happen and your bf loves and trusts you he will believe you, just give him time. I'm sure your friends won't believe him. Just ignore this silly fool.
Take care

Why do you have to prove yourself ? Even if something did happen whilst you two were split, you were split so there was nothing wrong with hanging with another guy ! Trying to go out of your way to prove it could even make you look guilty of it. Tell your b/f that he has to take your word for it and it's in the past anyway. The other guy may well have lied to others that something did happen between you both (wishful thinking), hence other people saying the same, often other people just say what they "think" happened too. Tell your bf you don't need to prove yourself or explain yourself - you did nothing wrong remember !
