Hi I can remember when I went out this guy who lived in Croydon. I classed that as a long distance relationship when it was only 20-25 mins on the train!!!
Long distance could be anything from a 25min train journey to being with someone who lives on the other side of the world. With the internet now it's also a lot easier to communicate with anyone anywhere.... So world is your oyster and the only limit is space!

Anon,
It's different for every relationship. For someone with very few choices of transportation, living 30 mins away from a partner could be considered a long distance relationship. For other couples, long distance could mean halfway around the globe.
