How do you decide if you should to kiss a guy yet? I've kissed people before, I just mean, how do you know if you are ready with a new person. I feel like I want to but I don't know if I should, even though he always asks me.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (19 December 2007):

I've kissed a few guys before. I just could tell they like me and I felt adventurous so I just leaned over and kissed them. Be careful though BECAUSE they might fall in love with you and if you don't really like them you might hurt them.

Like there was a few guys who I don't know why but I just leaned over and kissed them and they fell inlove with me but I didn't like them back. And I probably hurt them. Just make sure you really like him.

A peck on the cheek early wouldn’t matter; it will show you're interested yet reserved (i.e. he has to work to earn you rather than throwing yourself at him). However if it reels right go for it; if it doesn’t well there is always next time.

leanne.od agony auntwell, i always kiss a guy i like on the first date, there's no harm in it, and it shows you are ready to date that person. the guys usually feel the exact same, worried, aprehensive, don't want to seem to forward but want to show an interest in you, its natural to be nervous about a first kiss with someone new, but once you do it, you'll be fine.

good luck!
