When I walked in, a friend was flashing my husband!

A female , anonymous writes:

My husband and I have been married for 12 years. We have always had a good sex life, and I don't mind him looking at girls, just not touching. We had some friends over one night (a couple) and the girl went to the master bathroom knowing my husband was in the bedroom at the time.

I walked into the room, after taking care of the baby, I seen him standing at the bathroom door and she had her pants down showing him her private part and he was looking. I walked in and she walked out. He kissed me then he walked out.

What should I think about this? Does he secretly want her? He says he loves me, but he acts like he wants her. Our sex life is not as good as it was and he says he can't get it up much cause of the kids around. They have always been around.

I know I look better than her except I wear D's and she wears double D's but she has the fat stomach and butt to go with it.

I think your husbands reaction was really unnormal. No man would just lay and look at another women and then kiss you and walk out. Are there no communication in your relationship? I´m almost sure that he´s cheating on you honey, and the fact that he didn´t say anything to you shows that there is something wrong in this situation. ´Don´t make him fool you!

Oh my God! You can't call this woman a friend! Maybe your husband would like the idea of wife swapping or swinging, or maybe he and she are not strangers in the bedroom. Have you not spoken to your husband about this, was he not shocked? His reaction is all important, if he is just all cool about this and acting like it is no big deal, then you will be furious, as he is completly minimising your feelings and the issue at hand. I wouldn't like to be in your home on that day. You have to talk to each other.

A reader, pops +, writes (11 September 2005):

First, throw this so-called friend out of your life! Her conduct was inexcusable. Then have a long serious talk with your husband. If the sex is going south, let him know he is not keeping up his end of the bargain. You have a right to be happy with your sex life, just as he has. His job is to pleasure you when and how you want; your job is to pleasure him when and how he wants. And, Love making is Adult Play- its suppose to be fun, not some kind of war. If you can't work this out by talking to him, then get both of you to a marriage counselor, because something is very wrong. The time to fix it is now. I can't tell you what was going on in that bedroom. If your "friend" surprised your husband by dropping her pants as he was coming out of the bathroom, I would expect him to be so shocked that he wouldn't know how to react, or what to say. From what you have written, he didn't say or do anything, but look with his mouth dropped open. I think your entry was perfect timing, because it allowed him to save himself some embarrassment, and the possibility of having an angry woman making false charges against him, if he had had to say something to her. Under-stand what a compromising position he found himself in. Not everyone is prepared to handle this. I was propositioned in the interview room at our county jail by a client I was appointed to represent, who started taking her pants down because she wanted to cure her " itch" right then and there. I don't remember what I said, and I am glad there was no recording, as I probably sounded like a babbling idiot. I did succeed in getting her to stop. From then on, I took a law clerk with me whenever I had to speak to that client, for my own protection.
