Then now, we're talking again. So earlier, I guess he tried to reconnect with me by hugging me and saying we haven't in a while. Then on fb, we were chatting and he kept asking me what's on my mind. I refused to tell him, and all of a sudden he says he just wants me to tell him things like I tell my close friends and then gets mad and logs off.A few minutes later, he texts me saying sorry and says the tone wasn't directed towards me. When I ask what's wrong, he says nothing, and says goodnight. Why would he do this?

Sounds like he's upset because he feels you don't trust him with your feelings. I know as a teenage girl myself we sometimes taunt boys before telling them what's wrong. It's part of being a teenage girl I guess. If you just apologise for seeming a bit off with him and don't dig too deep into what the matter with him is, then everything should be okay :)
