The first time I said it to my husband I was leaning on him on his mom's couch. He was watching t.v. and I was doing homework...I looked up at him and was going to ask a question but for some reason couldnt. I just watched him for a moment and he looked back at me with a smile and didnt say anything either...then all of a sudden I just said it. Out of know where... his face beemed and he wrapped his other arm around me and hugged me while say "I love you too Terri" then we stayed hugged for a little bit then just went back to what we were doing...so baisically, you'll say it when the time is rightgood luck!

And mean it.
Nothing more is needed.

The first time that I said I love you to my fiance it was after our first fight. It was a stupid fight that some girl started and we went out side talked about everything that happened and I suddenly realized that the reason I got so upset was because I loved him. He ended up hugging me after everything was solved and I said (more like barely uttered) I loved him. He grapped me closer and said he loved me too.Ok so the point in the story is not to get in a fight so you say it but when that feeling gets strong no matter what is going on just say it and I'm sure it will be perfect.
