tonsta is verified as being by the original poster of the questionok here goes on sunday i arranged for my parents to have the children in the morning, i dropped them off very early when H was still in bed, i got back to the house and perpared a really nice breakfast and laid rose petals from the bed all the way to the table where the breakfast was. i then told H we was going out for the day. We went to a local place which is really nice to walk around and there is a nice waterfall ( Man Made ) there which is where i decided to ask her. i put a little stereo behind the waterfall playing some nice music and my friend put some candle behind there which i am so happy they stayed alight!! she wondered what the music was when we was paddling so i said lets go find out, when we walked through there was the candles and the ring box in the middle open when she noticed them i got on one knee and she said YES!!! we then went out for dinner it was so nice she looked so happy and bewildered!!

I got dumped at a point when I was expecting my man to propose me (Sad. I know.) And when I read your post, it felt like a whiff of fresh flowers! Coming to your question... I personally prefer to be proposed amidst nature... like a beautiful garden, a beach, a mountain top, a long drive... in the middle of no where... in front of a Church on the out skirts on a bright sunny afternoon... the possibilites are endless... Be creative... plan well and ensure she does not have a clue about this... I'm sure she will cherish whatever you do. Good luck... do let us all know. : )

tonsta is verified as being by the original poster of the questionsounds good but there is no-where like that around here :( we like going out for dinner but that seems "too conventional" and i would like to make this really special for her.

Hey there Mr Romance!
Do you have a nice place around where you live that you two like to go? Say a lookout over the city/sea? Down by the beach? Money does not have to be spent to romance the woman you love, but how about a place like i suggested above, then if you have a good friend who can help you out - get them to set up a dusk picnic with wine and candles (in holders so they don't blow out!) so it's all ready when you bring her to it. Don't tell her anything of what you are doing, just lead her to this place (best if it is a place you both love) and the beautiful, romantic picnic will be waiting then you can pop the question whenever the moment feels right! Well, that is how I would want to be proposed to anyway.
Best of luck!!!
