When we got together i said i would go onto the mini pill- as we, and especially i, do not like condoms (im very freaked out by them!). We talked and he said that he was more than certain that he has not go anything, and nor had i, as i had only slept with one of my boyfriends. Since we've been together, we have never used a condom, and never had any pregnancy scares ect. We have sex very often too. The only time we have said no to sex is when i have become ill and have been worried of the effect of the pill not working in my body/or having worked. Is this okay that we have been having unprotected sex for this long? I know its a bit of a silly question but i just want to make sure as i dont know anyone who doesnt use a condom! Also, i was thinking does this mean a bad thing- that we havent had any pregnancy scares? May i or he be infertile? I am worried that taking the mini pill for 3 years non stop may have caused some damage? I dont have any periods at all, and i have taken them everyday for the past 3 years. What would happen if i did become pregnant and i didnt know and i was still taking these pills? Am i just worrying too much? xx

You and your boyfriend are very iresponsible. Run to your GP or any Family Plannning Clinic or any under 25 as all of them are free. Not using a condom? even you are saying you boyfriend has had sex with many girls, and those girls have slept with more different boys, so you sleeping with your boyfriend without a condon is like sleeping with all the people you and he has ever slept with and there is a high risk of getting an STI, so what freaks you out getting STI or Using a condom (and trust me, no one likes them) If you trust each other have yourselves checked and tested for any infections. If you have missed any of the pills in a blister theres brobably a big chance you got pregnant. So you shouldnt be looking for advice here as its a serious matter and please run to your GP or any of the clinics. Take care.let me know how you get on.

The only things you need to be worried about are Chlanydia, and HPV - the silent STDs. You both may have them and not know about it.
You can get checked very easily at your local GUM clinic.
As for the Mini pill your doctor would have taken you off it if he thought there was a danger you had been on it too long. I recently had to switch my pill and I am gutted as I liked the one I was on.
When you go in to get yourself checked out talk to the nurse about your pill and any other concerns you have.
The fact you have not had any pregnancy scares simply means you are not an idiot and have managed to take the pill correctly for 3 years straight. I've been on it for 8 years now and am still not pregnant.
Yey for not being stupid.
Good Luck!! xx
