Hi guys, this question is for you men. I was wondering the way you act when you are in love, like do your hearts beat so fast when she calls, do you feel bad if she didn't call, do you keep remember her voice, her laugh, what she had said when she is not around ..... .

Come on guys open your heart and talk.

Same here!

My girlfriend lives in another country and I think I really love her.

We talk on the phone every day and I just love to hear her voice. Always! I'm always like in heaven when we had a sweet conversation and dream about it, thinking about being with her just in that moment.

She's my first thought in the morning and my last thought in the evening.

When I met her for the first time and laid next to her my heart was beating so fast it made her wonder about it.

Just now things got a bit more calm, but there's a reason for that and I think it's actually normal. So I try not to worry about it and not to think too much.

I miss her all the time and can't wait to see her again.

I will have to wait another 3 months to that day.

Well that's how I am when I'm in love.

But since were all individuals every person has its own way on how to express feelings.

Some are more demanding, some are more calm about it.

In my opinion it's always good when a man is able to show his true feelings and to speak about it.

But when he's not sure about the feelings about his beloved he will be careful not to show too much.

When he's more confident in the other ones feelings it's easier for him to show his.

We need to see the signs. And some men don't know how those signs can look like, because women mostly show them indirectly. It's more easy when women try to be more directly. But don't make it too easy! ;)

A male reader, Tbonex United States +, writes (27 June 2009):

Tbonex agony auntAll of that and much more indeed. Many men may have the same traits when they are in love but it actually depends on the person as well. I know when I first fell in love, I did everything in my power to please that person I was with(I still do that from time to time now but kind of slacking on it), but still like to keep that person happy. 1. Men may be more gentle towards you or show compassion and deep concern for you. 2. They may look out for your well being and care about the different types of people you may be with. 3. If you do something that may be wrong in their eyes, they will more than likely let you know they are hurt by it. 4. If you hurt yourself whether it's by doing something illegal or just do, they will show concern over that and will definitely want to help. 5. They will help you make better decisions and better themselves as well in order to do that. I could go on all day what men will do when they love someone, but the list of things is way too long. You'll find out eventually, given the chance. Let me know if you need any more advice on this issue.

I remember having a feeling of nausea and anxiety (don't laugh!) which alternated with states of blissful content. As for racing hearts, yes, when we kissed, my heart would beat so hard that I thought it would burst. Of course now after decades of marriage all that's left is bitterness and resentment, but you enjoy it while you're young, honey. Just don't settle down with one person too quickly.

Yep -- all of that.

My wife and I had our first serious date right before Christmas, and I had a travel commitment the next day. I'd been wearing a sweater on that date, and took it with me so I could smell her perfume while I was away.

We can get just as doe-eyed and soppy as the girls when infatuation strikes -- we probably work a bit harder at hiding it. ;)
