Please, just give me an answer. So, I am in my final year of college and I am pursuing studies in all Science areas. My Biology teacher is my favorite teacher. He is really cool. At first, he wouldnt approach me at all and now at every interval in the class he would ask " Are you ok"? Sometimes he would make jokes with the other girls maybe even pinch them but with me , he did nothing. Finally like in the second year(this year), we actually started talking about many things including if I have a boyfriend or not (not sure how that came up but he asked me so I answered). He is always funny, charming, cheeky and focused. He cares about each and everyone of his students and he strives hard to help us get A's. Yesterday, I came to school and asked him to help me with the outlines for lab reports. He said yes and we went to take a seat(me sitting facing him) but then he beckoned me to come beside him. The whole time he was helping me, he wasnt focused at all, he was not the teacher I knew and liked. He was very fidgetty..like every time the door opened, he would look in that direction then he would look down, lick his lips, look at me but when i looked at him he would face the wall as if he wasnt looking. After a five minutes , the same would occur, lick the lips, look at me then look away and again and again until I asked...."Sir, are you alright" to which he replied " "Yes, am ok" but he kept doing the same things once more so , I asked again and I even throw in jokes like "Boy, you do not seem like you are here with me , you must be still savouring your lunch..but he told me that the lunch was not that good. Well, the meet did not last long and when he found out that it was only one thing I wanted to discuss in Biology, he stewps his teeth and then left for the office. I left for home immediately but gave him a quich ring asking the same question to which he then replied , "why do you keep asking that". So, I di not pursue the matter but if you ask me, he looked like a cocaine junkie (though he doesnt smoke). You should have been there... What do you thing was wrong with him. Please reply with an answer!!!!

0000BraveHeart0000 is verified as being by the original poster of the question@ anonymous 1&2----- Tanxxx :) I will stop asking him if he is okay. I would not tell him that I think he is a junkie, that could end bad. I hope things are not too awkward when I return to school next week for exams.

He may just like you as a person and that could be the reason of his behaviour.
Best wishes.

Wanting you to sit next to you probably because then he can teach you better that way. My teacher hates it when i sit infront of her. She would drag a chair from literally the other side of the room and set it next to her, then drag me to sit onto it.
You might want to stop asking him 'are you ok?'... Don't freak!!
