I know this sounds corney, but since your lil sis is a gal, maybe you should buy her a little teddy with "I Love You" written on it or somehting. Things like this can have great sentimental value right the way through her life, as you can't grow out of bears! I know i was given a bear on the day i was born (Or so they tell me) and, although the bear has a childish name (Betty), she means the world to me. My naeighbour, however was given a necklace and bracelet set, which she absolutey adored...to the point of breaking it! It is up to you what you get her, but think of your family background... if the girls in your family are tomboys, then maybe a CD containing the single that was NO.1 the week she was born would be better than a bear.
Congratulations on your lil sis!

Not the type of Question? Of course it is! That`s the beauty of this site - You can ask anything, and we (Agonising Aunts!) will try our best to answer!! I suggest a little something that is in some way personalised; will have special meaning. It dosn`t have to cost the earth, how about a personalised meaning of her name? On the Internet you can get laminated name meanings, with choice of backround, for under five pounds; not a flimsy piece of paper, would be Fab in a frame. Kind Regards, Heather

Why not get her a little silver locket which you can get quite cheaply at jewellery stores like H Samuel. Obviously it's not something she can use for a few years but to be frank, if you want it to last longer than a few years that's a good thing!
