A female United States age 26-29, *b215 writes:

Well there's this guy in my class let's call him bob. So Bob is a player, he's had like 50 girlfriends and we're only 14. He's really nice though(most of the time) but he is annoying sometimes. He's a big player and flirts with like every girl. I think I have developed feelings for him but I know my parents wouldn't approve so I don't know what to do. One of his friends keeps telling me Bob likes me but im not sure. He always winless at everyone but apparently he winks at me the most. He also looks at me a lot. If you guys have any advice please comment. Like what should I do???

CindyCares agony auntTell him to stop winking- otherwise he's gonna have crow's feet by age 20.

Now,seriously- don't do anything. Let him be. At least if you want a guy that only likes YOU, and not a guy who likes anything that's got boobs.

A reader, anonymous, writes (12 March 2011):

I can almost guarantee you won't listen to my advice. But you must resist this boy at all costs. A player is a heartbreaker, especially a teenaged one. A winker? Are you kidding me? That isn't even remotely fair. Winkers are excessively adorable, dangerously charming. You are probably losing all sense of perspective and reason as I type this. His "Wing Man"? forget it. That kid is just helping the winker. Unless you're really tough, and able to withstand the probability that you'll be yesterday's news in no time, force yourself to ignore his considerable charms. You have all my support and empathy, signed, fellow female.
