Time is really the only answer.
Nothing you say can make him trust you because you have already proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that everything you say can be a lie.
That is the problem with lying, when found out, everything you have sayed and will say is suspect from then on.
Simple test, lets blindfold you, I stand behind you and you let yourself fall backwards and I promise to catch you.
You fall backwards and I don't catch you.
"Oops, sorry, it won't happen again". Will you trust me?
Offcourse not, once bitten, twice shy. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
Give it time, show with your actions that from now on he can trust you and perhaps he will learn to trust you again.
But don't expect miracles, saying you are sorry is not enough, afterall how does he know you are not lying once again?
