writes: My ex- husband passed away two years ago, he was a doctor and I am going to order his headstone. I am not sure what to put on because we were divorced. I am re-married again. We remained good friends. He did not really have any family just two cousins. Does anyone know of any quotes etc for a doctor, I have searched and cannot find any. And no my present husband does not mind in fact he is helping me choose the headstone. Thankyou

If it were me I'd start with the headstone reading his full name and doctorate degrees abbreviated afterwards.
If he had a particular interest or wit you could place a singular line that would best quote/reflect his sentiment or philosophy in life. Makes me think, did he eat an apple a day...?
Then the dates of birth and death details including genuine sentiments and try to include a photo of him if you can.
