Hi aunts :)

I was wondering about what qualities a guy respects in his girlfriend?

I read another user post this thought on DearCupid:

"He was proud to show me off to his family and more so did those little gestures that means so much to us women such as kissing my forhead calling me beautiful, holding me in his arms like he was never going to let me go. Every womens fantasy of a perfect guy!"

And it got me thinking, what would be the equivalent "little gestures" that guys love about girls?

I'de love to hear all your opinions and comments :)

a girl whos girly, but can still be masculine enough to stand up for herself and speak whats on her mind. Someone funny, fun to be around, and does not force herself on you. A girl who can give a guy the space he needs, but at the same time make the man want to be with her. A girl who is not into material things, does not expect them, but can be appreciative when she receives them. A girl who can understand that her man doesnt want to engage in PDA all the time, especially around family, and other guys. Someone who isnt jealous or overbearing, but will still say something smart to let you know how they feel. A pet peeve of mine that I hate is repetition, I only need to hear it once. The list can go on and on forever. Basically what it all boils down to is having a partner who can put themselves in the others shoes and truly understand their needs (and take the proper actions to give them what they need).

Somethingeasy agony auntTo each guy its diffrent. For me I look for someone who can just sit and talk with me and not go over board. Some other guys I know look for a woman who can go out parting everynight

Moviefan agony auntgood personality, intelligence, sensitivity, caring, sweet,

attractive, understanding, confident, self worth, and a good sense of humor so you dont kill us, and common intrests.

And guys pretty much like the same thing guys like when it comes to gestures of kindness and effection. So we have one thing in common at least after all things that make us so much diffrent. You are just over thinking all of this probably

Good luck!

In terms of gestures... Can't beat cuddles, holding hands and kisses.

The same things most girls want from their man I'd imagine (some of them at least).

Trust, honesty, truthfullness, faithfullness and love. Never mind all of the crap about 'showing' someone off! we are not trophies to be brought out occasionally. The perfect guy for me is one who can keep his 'brains' in his trousers! and i am sure that goes the other way around. Just be yourself and never the person that you 'think' the bloke wants you to be.

take care

xx
