I think this is an each to their own type of thing. My hubby loves JPG and kenzo. As long as I don't wear to much. Drenching yourself in anything is overkill.

I'm a female but I do recommend: Carolina Herrera 'Chic.' It depends on the guy though, every guy has different tastes. But I think this one is nice, up to you if you wanna try it.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 January 2007): I think it all depends on the man. But, just don't wear anything to heavy. I find that a good body spray instead of actual perfume helps a lot. And, it last longer. When they get close, they always say how good it smells. Good luck to you. I am sure he will love whatever.

Hi,
Thank you for your question. It all depends on the man. Some men like fresh florally smells, others like heavier musky smells. Coco Channel and Poison are 2 favourites that I've found worked in the past.
If you keep the perfume lighter during the day and use fresher flowery scents (Issey Miyake or Kenzo) then at night use a heavier scents like Poison or Coco Channel then you won't go far wrong.
