writes: Hi,I was wondering. I have a girl that I like. She is a peer in my university. We were in the same class this summer. What kind of topics are good to talk about with a girl? I dont know much about her such as her likes or dislikes. I have no concerns about being myself. I just feel dull that I cannot bring about good conversation with a girl. Please tell me some specifics :)

When I was a teenager, I had much the same problem 'til an old and wise man gave me some advice that has stood me in good stead ever since: Talk to her about her favourite subject - herself!
In other words, her ambitions, her education, her musical tastes, her favourite sports, her hobbies, her family, oh - if she's the chatty type, once she starts, you won't get a word in all night!
Good luck!

If you want to have a successful conversation, you may try to ask her about her interest in life and you need to be a listener and from it, you will get more topic to discuss...be an attentive listener. this will make her comfortable sharing with you.

you have to talk to her about things that interest her.
if she likes you and you have common interests it will flow and you won't feel dull.
if it's an effort to talk to her, maybe you don't have enough in common.
