why did this guy ask for my number, and why does he reply to my texts ,but doesn't meet up wih me ?. he also pokes me on facebook ( he does it first ). he seems interested in me, but i haven't seen him since the night when he asked for my number. it upsets me because i really like him, and i cant stop looking at his facebook page. we've had a laugh on facebook with some comments we have written on his wall too, but that's only little things. it's his birthday next week too. i'm not sure if he is doing anything for it, but i wish i could meet up with him for it. i wish i could ask him in a casual way if he is doing anything for it, and sort of hint that i'd like to meet up with him if he is. Does anyone have any suggestions ?.

Denise32 agony auntNo way to know why he asked for your phone number but hasn't asked you out. Perhaps he's shy; or maybe he is already dating someone, or possibly is just very busy at present.

Why not ask what his birthday plans are? If he has already made arrangements to celebrate, then you could always invite him out for a coffee, drink or lunch later in the week.

You've nothing to lose!

Might be wrong but if he wanted to he would have asked you. Might be better not building your hopes up.
