Perma-period is common with some OCPs (the pill) if you have been checked out by your doctor and he found nothing then you have nothing to worry about.
If it does bother you a lot go back and ask for a different pill.

It is not uncommon for women to "spot" between periods. While birth control can contribute to spotting, often times it is regular for women to spot regardless of weather they are or are not on birth control. I have had my period since I was ten, Im twenty now. My periods from the time I was ten to the time I was 18 were always regular and I never spotted once. Then last year at nineteen when my periods had been regular for 9 odd years, all of sudden I started spotting! Just out of the blue. Everything was perfectly fine with me as well. Sometimes it can happen when theres a hormone imbalance, other times when your body changes and you become more of a women. Other times there snt really an explanation for it. I believe thats its normal for you sweetie. If youre still concerned however, ask your doctor the next time you have an appointment, or you can make one. Good luck!!
