well hey, my question may seem a bit gross but I need to find out about it. I have this spot, it's down there, and it is soo horrid. It has been there for about a month now and it just gets bigger and bigger. I never gets spots on my face or anywhere else and I keep clean, shower daily, etc. This bit is horrid but the other day it got a head on it and looked like it needed squeezing, (sorry if it sounds disturbing) but blood, blood and even more blood came out of it, and it wasn't just like weird blood it was proper thick red blood and it was bleeding for about 20 mins. Now it's about 4 days later and it is going back how it was before and it is soo irritating. Does anyone know what this is?? What could I do. It's so embarrassing.

Sorry About Detail And Mingingness.

Thanks ___ Charlotte Aged 14

birdynumnums agony auntHi Sweetie,

It could be an ingrown hair, it could be a cyst, it could be a boil, it could be a pimple, but the person who can diagnose it and help you get rid of it is your Doctor. The longer you put off going, the more you risk a secondary infection as well. If you are shy, ask your Mom to find a female physician for you. You can always ask that your Mom stay with you during the exam as well - if it helps you feel more comfortable. Tell your Mom today! I hope you are feeling better soon, it sounds really uncomfortable.

Take care!

I had one of these on my ball bag when I was about your age. When it got really big I plucked up the courage to burst it and out popped out a load of pus and blood and within a couple of weeks it had disappeared altogether.

If you're really worried about it see the doc, but otherwise I wouldn't worry too much!

AskEve agony auntTrust me, this spot is fine and is nothing to worry about. It's a small cyst and usually happens if you catch one of your pubes. It gets a little bigger until you are aware of it when you move right? It gets a little bigger again and eventually a green head emerges on it. Once it is ready to "pop" it does so and oozes sticky green puss followed by rich dark red blood right? After a few days things return to normal.

YummyMummy agony auntHeya

I would suggest you going and getting the spot checked out just incase it could be something that really isn't supposed to be there. The doctor may also be able to help if it is just a normal spot, but from the sound of it there is something "odd" about this one.

JessAgonyAunt agony auntHey, I can't tell what it is so i think you should definately go and see a doctor, find research on the net and tell your mum if it's getting bigger and bigger i don't think it's a spot and spots don't usually bleed like that, it could be anything, it could be serious and it might not be, but only the doctor knows, so book yourself in for a appoitment, you may be embarssed but if you just leave it then it could get worse, i hope i have helped, can u please rate my answer, feel free to email me anytime

good luck hun
