This is really specifically for anal. This is fairly new to us, needing a lubricant, and we have only purchased the generic K-Y...the ingredients were the same so I didn't think buying the name brand would make any difference?

We have not been in a sex store together, and we haven't used any sex toys...yet lol.
The lubricant I bought was in a tube and it wasn't a liquid, but I have seen what you are are talking about Ampersand. The stuff I have is more like vasaline in immediate consistency, but as I said, turns sticky and gets cakey after a few minutes.
I did not think of adding some water to it because when we were trying to wash it off, it was slippery again...thanks for that idea!!!
I am relaxed, and we have a tried a few positions, but I noticed no matter how we do it, the minute that stuff starts to dry up, it becomes uncomfortable and I will no longer continue.

If you have it in the states try astroglide. It works really well and I done anal with my gf using it. Also just to mention, relaxation is just as important as lube inorder for anal to go well.

You can try a lube called Platinum. Go to a sex store and ask the Clerk. The lubricants in the regular stores are sticky and don't work. The ones in the sex stores are amazing.
