It is depend upon what you know? and How you know your own knowledge? This is perhaps most difficult question you conceived. But off hand reply is that...if you understand correctly the meaning of 'foreplay' then you will be always in a state of knowledge that 'I ' with you is always on...never go for 'off', or never know that state of 'off'

 Sex can be lovely, providing your with someone lovely. Personally I believe the media hypes up sex far too much, putting pressure on people to have it and for it to be good.
I cant really remember how i knew i was "ready" but i can remember that in many ways i regreted it! Although another part of me was glad to have it over with. I was daft enough however to believe that sex would bring me love, it didnt. You just have to watch out who you choose i guess and what they really want, although when your young thats not always an easy distinction :)
My first time was somewhat arkward, i'd say average but was made better because of the high levels of adrenaline from the nerves and excitement! Its fun, aslong as, like i said before, your careful about who you choose :) x

Never rush into it,and yes the first time is always akward,but that is always the case.Do not expect it to be great,it improves over time.You should think it through to see if you are both ready.

It is special as long as you're with the right person, and you'll know when you're ready, because you'll be with the right person. :). Just don't rush it, take your time getting to know guys, and you'll find the right one.

My first time was really awkward because this guy that i did it with pressured me into it and didn't really care that it was my first time. After that i ended that relationship and found someone way better. My first time with him was so amazing because i knew he cared aboout me. I knew he didn't just want sex, he actually cared. So don't be pressured into having sex just to experience what everyone else has. Believe me you will know when the right time is. If it feels awkward, you are not ready. If it feels right...then you could be ready. To be sure, ask the guy how much having sex means to him and what your relationship will be like afterwards.

It is often a let down.
My first time was incredibly special but it's harder too actually have sex than you think it is it took me and my bf ages to crack it :)
It didn't hurt me but then every woman is different.
You will know when your ready, just wait for the right guy so then it will be special.
