My wife and I had 5 kids. She never felt anything until after she missed that first cycle.
Perhaps, your friend is feeling weird because of her diet. I see you are still young. Drinking certainly doesn't make anyone feel better the next day. If she is taking any kind of pills, including diet pills, she is going to feel weird also.

You don't begin to feel any symptoms until you are about 6-8 weeks along. Which is about 4-6 weeks after conception (unprotected sex). One of the very first symptoms she would feel is very soar breasts. Following that would be morning sickness (don't be fooled by the name, it can happen at any time of day), feeling tired all day.
If she is concerned about a pregnancy, she can always take a home pregnancy test...
