writes: Just wondering... if you took the pill every day all month (and didnt leave a gap for your period) what would happen? I'm assuming it cant be healthy or more people would do it...I just really dont want my period next week as i'm away... but i'd rather have it than risk damaging myself so thought id check :)x

i aslo did that i skipped the placebo week of pills and went to the next 3 months and i didnt danamage anything and i asked a nurse and they said that it wouldnt hurt.

People do that a LOT. There are pills marketed for that purpose, of only having 3 or 4 periods a year. I've done it plenty if I have an event or vacation that I don't want interrupted. Here's what happens:
Most often, nothing happens except no period.
Sometimes nothing happens, but then my next period is heavier.
Sometimes I spot all month until my next period.
It's totally fine to do. I'm pretty sure it even says instructions on the birth control box. Once you're on birth control pills you aren't having a period anymore, it's just a withdrawal bleed. The FDA has even approved a drug that completely eliminates your period just with regular birth control pills. It's really not a period, you're just bleeding. You don't need it. Enjoy your period free vacation...
