A female Austria age 36-40, *estbahnhof writes:

I really need help in this... i have been writing about this problem for several months.. and this is an update on what really happened lately..

I am a dancer, and my dance instructor made many hints that i don't really understand.. he is latin american...

1- he asked me if i was still with my ex boyfriend and i said not anymore.. then he answered me: OH THANK GOD! HE DOESN'T SUIT YOU AT ALL!!!

2- He asked me on the same occasion if i was interested in latin men.. and said: would you like to have a latin man? don't you want a latino man? latinos are nice...

3- two months later he saw me on the phone fighting with someone.. and he asked me after my phone call: who are you talking to? i said this is my new boyfriend.. and i told him my problems with him.. he asked me if i lovd him.. i said i don't know yet.. i said he lives in a different country.. i feel lonely because my new relationship is not promising.. he said i am also lonely. i said to him: but you have a wife and a big family. i mean latin people normally have a huge family with many kids.. then he said: but i don't see my family im too busy working at my dance studio.. and even though my wife is also a dancer and we work together in this studio, i don't have time for my family..

3-He asked me how old my new boyfriend is,, i said he is 35 years old.. then he said: "why do you go for young men? it is not the age that counts,, sometimes you find an older man with experience and he can really appreciate you more than a younger man..

4- i am leaving the country where i work as a dancer and im going back to my country, so he said to me: its a pitty you are leaving.. you must come back.. its really a pitty.. i said i will come back but in 9 nine months..

i just want to know,, what does this man want from me..??? i am really into him and for months i have been really attracted to him but i never saw anything from him that made me have any hope that he liked me so i moved on... and now it is really strange how he is reacting, especially that in 2 months i will be leaving for good.. advise please..

CindyCares agony auntOh my oh my, what could this guy possibly want from you...

Mumble mumble mumble ... mysterious... LOL. Not really. Is it not blatantly evident ?? he is hitting on you, he wants to get into your pants. He wants to know that the coast is clear and there are no younger aggressive boyfriends to contend with , and wants to gauge how receptive you'd be to a roll in the hay with an older married man.

Tisha-1 agony aunt1- he asked me if i was still with my ex boyfriend and i said not anymore.. then he answered me: OH THANK GOD! HE DOESN'T SUIT YOU AT ALL!!!

[He's thinking, 'oh good, I don't have to worry about a boyfriend or fiance making trouble later.']

2- He asked me on the same occasion if i was interested in latin men.. and said: would you like to have a latin man? don't you want a latino man? latinos are nice...

[He's testing to see if you'd even date him.]

[So he's married and his wife works with him? I'd say he's either trying to be empathetic or he's setting you up so he can make advances on you and you'll be accepting of them. He's MARRIED.]

3-He asked me how old my new boyfriend is,, i said he is 35 years old.. then he said: "why do you go for young men? it is not the age that counts,, sometimes you find an older man with experience and he can really appreciate you more than a younger man..

[He's auditioning for the role of a cheating OLDER husband, maybe? Sounds like a rather pathetic line to me.]

4- i am leaving the country where i work as a dancer and im going back to my country, so he said to me: its a pitty you are leaving.. you must come back.. its really a pitty.. i said i will come back but in 9 nine months..

[Maybe that will make him wonder if you are pregnant?]

[He sounds like he's making a minimum effort to flirt with you. If you've moved on and have a boyfriend, and he's married with children, um, then I guess you've moved on from him. He sounds like a bit of a flirt and maybe needs his ego stroked from time to time. Or other things. But why would you want to stroke the ego of a man who is married to another woman?

seeing as how he is married and has a family, I think what he wants from you is an affair.
