What does she mean when she says "love ya"

A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am in love with my best friend, she is amazing and I would die without her. When were texting and stuff she always says "love ya" when she leaves. Is this the same as "love you" or is she meaning something different.

usually 'love ya' just means the same as see ya... at least when I say it! does she say it to her other friends?
