writes:my friend killed himself, a few weeks ago, but last night i had a dream that he was telling me he was alive we were walking to my fathers house he explained that had to pretend he was dead because of things happening in his life, he was also being sick alot and told me it was two do with his nerves, so he faked his death, i know this is not true as i was there at his funeral, and he was buried, but i can't get this out ma head, why did i dream this , it was so scary ???  The dream means that you feel sad and that you are trying to cope with his death. In this situation it would be wise to talk to a counsellor.

 As said, it just a 'fantasy' of him still being alive because that is what you really want. It is your brain coping with the conflict between what you want and what you know to be true.
Don't worry about it, it is all part of grieving and it takes time.

he was your friend you still want him to be alive and wish that he was not dead the brain sorts out theses feelings and emotions when we sleep so this dream was just a reflection of how your feeling its ok this is not an abnormal thing so dont worry.

At first I used to dream about her alot, and in my dream she was still alive, but as time went on I got better. Just give yourself time to heal mentally.The dream probably has no significant meaning, so don't be scared. Just remember the times that yall shared and take it day by day. Your friend would never enter a dream to scare you, so try to be at peace with that.
