I have to ask if you are attracted to her. If you are, you may be over-interpreting innocent affection as more in wishful thinking. I know that happened to me. I absolutely LOVED my high school art teacher. I took art classes every year as a elective just to be near her. She really liked me too, but only as a nice person that shared common interests and as a conscientious eager student. Teachers are human; everyone likes to be liked and returns affection when given it. She may see you as a protege if she thinks you admire and respect her. As an adult, I now realize that had been interested in me (which she was not) and had acted on it-she would have been victimizing me. Even young children can feel genuine love for another person, but it is purely inappropriate for a teenager and an adult to be involved in a relationship. The simple fact that she is your teacher defines unequal roles and power. It would be abusive.

No, it doesn't necessarily mean she's attracted to you, she might just be admiring your hair or you might remind her of someone she knows, a neice for example. Women are full of emotions, I would just brush it off and think nothing more about it.
