Hi. I'm 17 and I've been dating a girl(who is also 17) for almost 4 months. This Wednesday we're going to a concert and that also happens to be our "Four month anniversary". We've never celebrated this type of stuff before but I think that it might be a sweet gesture to bring her flowers or something like that. So I mean should I try to do something like this even though we've never done anything like this before?

Well, today is also my "four month anniversary" with my lady, and we celebrate each week. :)

I'd definitely do something, but also make sure to do nice things for no reason at all - just because you love her, y'know? That's what really matters.

I think you should. She will love it that you are so thoughtful. I hope you continue to be so thoughtful when you are a bit older. My partner cant remember our yearly anniversaries!

StonePrincess agony auntWell it would be sweet and it would show that you're tickled pink to still be with her, but it's not really a marker of any significance, but still it would be nice to say," we've been together for 4 months and I'm so glad to be with you."

But personally 6 months(half a year), a year (definatly) or more worth making a fuss over because alot of people can make it 3 or 4 months but usually by 6,7,8 , a year they've kinda second guessed if the relationship is worth persuing farther.
