 It sounds like he likes you and thats why he is being all cute around you. Like it was said already you should just ask him, he may be releived that you asked him because he's probably very nervous on what your thoughts would be if he asked you. The way your quetion is worded it sounds like you two have been friends for a while and that there is a connection already between you two. Just go for it and ask him out, that way you won't waste any more time wondering iff anything will happen.

I think he does like you. But there is only ever one way to find out, and that's to ask. He may like you, but like a lot of men may not have a clue about how you feel about him. So you should try talking to him about it.
