I'm not sure if posting in old questions inappropriately bumps them up anywhere but I just wanted to throw out my *professional* male opinion on this :P. (or just my preference lol)
Larger breasts (not gigantic) smaller breasts everything else etc etc etc implants dead last.
Seriously, I think implants are pretty much always a horrible idea. If you have suffered some kind of awful disfigurement :(, I can understand it, but otherwise whatever you have real is way more attractive than anything artificial.
I'm not even talking about feeling or close intimacy. I can't even look at pictures properly once I realize I'm looking at plastic.

Many people will talk badly about breast implants - how superficial they are, how fake they look, how only 'sluts' get them, how gross they feel. If a woman gets implants and they are proportional to her body most people can't even tell she had them done. Many people usually have negative judgements based on women who receive implants that are extremely disproportionate to thier size.
In 2009 I had breast augmentation. I was always unhappy with the size of my breasts (I was an AAA cup, which is smaller than an AA cup which is smaller than an A cup...yes I had nothing). I have to admit that it was the most painful experience of my life (although I do have very low pain threshold), and I was in a lot of pain for 3 days. I was healed in about a week but still had to take care not to over-do it for a few months(heavy lifting etc). Every woman heals differently. Some have pain, some don't. Some people take longer for their implants to "drop" than others. I got the biggest implant that I could get at the time (your skin will only stretch so much at once), and it took about 6 months for them to settle completely. I am now a full B cup and look proportional.
As for how they feel...well I don't really know. I never had boobs to feel before :) They are a little firm (I had saline implants) and I have had bf's tell me that they can feel the implant. I have had 3 bf's since then and none of them have been grossed out by my implants. I have also had a few compliments from male friends (who have not seen my bobos, just in my clothes).
The only thing that I can recommend is to make sure you are doing it for the right reason and do what's best for you. If you are not happy with yourself on the inside then you will never be happy with yourself on the outside and will always find flaws with yourself. Make sure you are doing it for you and only you. No one else matters.
Also, make sure to research every aspect of breast augmentation thoroughly. I love love love this website: http://www.implantinfo.com/ It helped me out tremendously and offered a lot of support. Breast augmentation can have a physical and psychological effect on a woman so be prepared for an emotional roller coaster ride.
I have absolutely no regrets and would do it again in a second.
I am 30 years old and do not have kids but may have some in the future. From the information I have read breast augmentation usually does not affect breast feeding and the breasts usually maintain their shape. But every woman is different.
Take care of yourself and all the best on your surgery!
