What do I write in the note?

Question - (22 February 2010) 3 Answers - (Newest, 23 February 2010)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Right guys here is the situation. I sent a girl a valentine's day card and she saw me. A friend of mine confirmed to her that it was my handwriting. If anyone has asked, i have denied the fact that it was me. So, she knows i like her and so does everyone else despite my attempts to conceal this. She gets irritated when anyone mentions "us" being together jokingly, although i have been acting similarly to hide my feelings. She's brought it upon herself really, showing everyone the card and mentioning it, if she had kept quiet she would have spared both of us the embarrassment.

Anyway, I've decided to send her a note, admitting i sent the card, telling her i like her, explaining that I'm not pressuring her into liking me and asking her not to tell anyone that i sent her a note. The problem is i don't know how to write this and my attempts will probably be far too romantic and therefore potentially offputing to my potential girlfriend. So, ideas on the note please and advice on whether you think because she showed some people the card, she'll show people this note. Thanks in advance.

Never put anything in writing; you never know where it will end up. You don't want a bunch of giggly girls laughing over it in the bathroom or people in your class coming up to you to quote mockingly from it.
