theres this guy at my school and he told me he fancied me but about a week ago he told me he doesnt anymore.but he keeps on touching me slightly on the back and complimenting me and does all the signs that he still fancies me but im confused cuz he said he didnt.

reader, anonymous, writes (31 October 2007): if it is me, i will do my best to seem like the perfect boyfriend- be happy, kind, helpful, a gentlemen etc. If that fails, i will work out the likelyhood that they would go out with me and if i like that perso enough i will ask them out. But doing that is very scary.....lol.

 Usually they will become a bit more "touchy feely" (this behaviour is not exclusive to males), eye contact can either increase substantially, or almost completely disapate (depending on the shyness of the person in question).
Attempts to be funny can also see an increase, as well as an increase in their target's interests and attempts to connect on a more personal level.
You have to remember there is no "rulebook" for this kind of thing, each individual will have their own tells.
Someone who acts completely cold for instance, could like you but have difficulty expressing it, just for an example on how much it can differ

most guys will be mean to a girl you know the term treat them mean keep them keen but if he is a more sensitive guy he will make eye contact with you almost every 2 minutes give you compliments when ever they can hope this helps x
