If he's into sports, can you afford to take him to a game? Soccer, football (whatever name you call it over there) for one of the bigger teams out there, or at least one that you can afford to see. Also, the game doesn't have to be exactly on his B-day, you can just give him the tickets then, and if you tell him he can take a mate and not you, that's like an extra present, and it saves you from having to watch a sports game (assuming you aren't into sports).
Or find an interesting CD, or maybe the brand new album from his favorite band. Another cute idea, if he has iTunes you can go to his house and use your (or your parent's) bank card to buy him 20 songs or so, and make a play list called "From Katy" to surprise him. It's not fancy, but it is creative and would take a little bit of planning.
Let us know how it goes!

Katy. is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHe's more of a typical lad; into his sports, video games and appearance, that kind of thing. There's not really a right lot more :/that's why its so hard. But i'd find it silly buying him an xbox game and that 'cause he's got plenty already.any use?
