What do 18 year old girls mean when they call boys 'hun', 'babe' etc. Obviously all girls are different but I want to know. Which words mean what? Reply to this Question Share |

Well it will depend on the girl. It might mean Nothing. It might mean she has a crush on you.
It really depends on the girl and how she is. I call everyone baby and honey and sweetie... I can't remember names all that well....

It doesn't mean anything! Certainly don't take it as a hint that it means "I like you" or "I want to have sex with you". A piece of advice here because I see you are very young and inexperienced: Don't puzzle your mind too much to understand women. If they like you, you will know! If they want to sleep with you, you will know! If you are not sure it means they don't and that they are most probably playing with you! Yes, it's hard to believe but it's true. Best wishes young friend.

It depends on their personality. If your female friends are calling you those terms, they might just be being friendly.
I have a guy friend that's pretty much my brother and I call him 'baby' and 'love'. It's to be lighthearted and fun; I could never imagine dating him.
BUTTT, some girls might be hinting at something more. I know that some girls would prefer not to drop hints like that, but maybe some do.
You never know, dude! Just wait for something more to happen. If nothing does, she probably just thinks of you as a friend.

Terms of affection that hint to an intimate relationship or the hope of one.
