Question - (16 June 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 16 June 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

There is a guy at work who I am attracted to. We have a great friendship, a mutual connection, and really enjoy each others company. We've drunkenly hooked up once in the past, but it hasn't happened since. He's asked me to take a class with him, and would text me at least once a day with questions "about class," even if it was 3am on a weekend morning. He's never tried to get us to have a booty call though, but we do get pretty flirty. Last night he texted me and I am not sure but was it a bootycall?

Him 4:22am: You up?

Me 4:44am: Yes

Him 4:45am: haha now? sorry

Me 4:45am: Go to bed creep

Him 4:45am: rudeness called, they want their lifestyle back

Me 4:46am: Alcoholics anonymous called, they'd like you to attend a meeting

Him 4:47am: So did minding your own business, they left a message though

Me 4:49am: Since I'm rude I'll just pretend I never saw the message

Him 4:50am: good idea? I dont know

Was this a bootycall? because he never asked tried to meet up with me? Or do you think he was just wanting to talk or something? I thought it was the weirdest to time to have just a conversation, but then again I am an insomniac and he knows it. And what exactly did his 4:45am text mean, was he apologizing if he had woken me up?

A female reader, ilovebowsandcherries United Kingdom +, writes (16 June 2009):

ilovebowsandcherries agony aunti don't think it's a bootycall he may have just wanted to text you see how you are or be random as your texts clearly are. 4:45am he probably just meant he's sorry if he had woken you should you have been drifting or anything. i think he likes you though i mean you clearly have a connection in random texts. but it's not a bootycall.

Hope this helps.
