I don't know whether red, dark gold and some black or green would look good. Or whether, dark pink, forest green and some blue looks better. What colour scheme for a room of a 20 year old would look nice? My friends are useless at helping me decide! I find a comforter set or matching furniture then I take my wall color from there. For instance if you find a bed set with pink, white and purple stripes you can grab the pink or purple or any color that would complement those colors. I would never do black or any really dark color. Its depressing and shows no personality or vibrancy plus it makes the room appear smaller. Also never do any color that is very difficult to paint over. You can change your paint so don't worry too much about it. It's best to match your personality as well as your room furnishings. And since I don't know either I can't say which colors you mentioned are the one for you :)

I'd say that the most important thing is to have a television in your ceiling so that you can watch CNN whilest you and you favorite boy are enjoying one-another!!!
Good luck...
P.S. I'm partial to wallpaper, myself!!!!!

I personally like purples and silver, possibly a white fluffy rug (fake fur) and light wooden flooring. But as it's already been said, choose colours that you like :)

Try looking in magazines for inspiration. Also if you have any online estate agents websites you can look at pics of real people's rooms there. In the uk, we have a site called www.rightmove.co.uk.
It's entirely down to personal taste. If you still have absolutely no idea, you can't go far wrong with good old magnolia! It will make the room bright and fresh and you can use virtually any coloured furnishings with it.

I agree with SVC - it comes down to YOUR taste and preference. I like a dusty light greyblue, brown & cream for the bedroom, nice and soothing colors. BUT that is me.
I honestly wouldn't go too dark on the walls it makes a room look smaller, but you could get some nice throw pillows to make the room pop more. A nice vibrant poster or painting can cheer up a room as well.
I like to use pininterest for inspiration.

YOUR taste is all that matters.
for me I like gray and raspberry or brown and blue...
my fiance would like black and more black...
your room should be what YOU want... if you are not ready to choose... then you can wait...
